I am deeply disappointed by the failures identified within the independent review and report of the South Wales Fire & Rescue Service, and I was pleased that our government have taken strong action to turn the service around. (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-68217579).

I have worked with South Wales Fire and Rescue Service for many years as part of the White Ribbon campaign to tackle violence against women. This is yet another example of organisations not having adequate training and structures to protect people from sexual abuse and exploitation in their workplace.
